Frequently Asked Questions

Why get a second opinion?
A second opinion can confirm your diagnosis, reveal treatment options you may not have been told about, improve confidence in your plan and sometimes change the entire course of treatment.
Is it really free?
Yes — the second opinion review is free. You only pay if you choose to travel to Dr. Abhishek’s clinic for consultation, investigation or treatment.
What should I send?
Please send your diagnostic reports: biopsy reports, CT/MRI/PET-CT scans (with the actual DICOM images if possible), blood reports, tumour markers, and any previous treatment summaries.
How do I send my reports?
You can email them, upload via the contact form, or share via WhatsApp. Large imaging files can be shared via cloud drive links.
How long will it take to get a reply?
Dr. Abhishek personally reviews cases and responds within 24-48 hours in most cases. Urgent cases are prioritised.
Will my information be kept confidential?
Yes — all medical information is kept strictly confidential and used only for your care.
Can Dr. Abhishek review international cases?
Yes — he regularly provides second opinions for international patients from the Middle East, Africa, SAARC and beyond.
Do I need to travel for the second opinion?
No — the review is entirely remote. If you choose to proceed with treatment, travel can be arranged with full support.
Will my existing doctor be informed?
Only if you want them to be. The second opinion is for your benefit and is entirely your decision to share.
What if the second opinion differs from my current plan?
If there is a significant difference, Dr. Abhishek will explain the reasons clearly, share the evidence and help you make an informed decision. You are never pressured.
